Trinidad Libraries and technology
Libraries in Trinidad and Tobago are much better off than their Caribbean counterparts when it comes to technology. The National Library can be compared with those in any developed country and provision has been made for the visually challenged in many of the branch libraries. Do you think that enough use isd being made of them?

I agree that we here in Trinidad and Tobago are more advance then other caribbean countries.
ReplyDeleteIt is great that provisions are being made for the visually impaired. However, what provisions are there for the physically handicapped? As for enough use being made of them I cannot say.
ReplyDeletemaybe im not too sure. I've been there on and off and seen visually impaired persons using it but not many though
ReplyDeletei agree that in trinidad and tobago library are better of than other caribbean countries
ReplyDeleteNo, definate no. There isn't much usage of these facilites by the very people they were created for, and yes while Trinidad may be better in terms of technology advancement, there isn't enough done here to promopte the services that are provided, especially for the differently abeld
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your comment but not enough use is being made of the facilities.
ReplyDeleteThe services offered at the national library is not appreciated by the ppl of trinidad and tobago...this is very disappointing
ReplyDeletelibraries are progressing in Trinidad and Tobago . however much more can be done for the disabled community by providing better location of these resources.
